The Invisalign process at Wildhorse Dental

1. Initial Consultation: Contact our office to reserve an orthodontic consultation and to meet with Dr. Miller what you would like to achieve in your orthodontic endeavors. Dr. Miller will take a digital scan of your teeth and the scans will be sent to Invisalign.

2.Making the Aligners: After you and and Dr. Miller have approved the consult, Invisalign will fabricate the custom aligners that are designed to shift teeth gently and incrementally.

3. Fitting Aligners: About 2 weeks after approval, aligners will be ready to be applied. At the first appointment, clear “attachments” may be bonded to some of your teeth so the aligners can move your teeth more effectively.

4. Wearing the Aligners: Removing the aligners only to eat and clean your teeth, each set is only worn for around 2 weeks each.

5. Completing Treatment and Retainers: Once your teeth have been aligned and your new smile makeover is finished, retainers are used to keep your teeth straight and to keep your smile right for years to come.
